Cabin is a 12' x 12' Pan Abode design with sleeping capacity for 4 - 6 Beds are wooden bunks single person upper bunk and double for lower bunk. The cabin is equipped with table, benches, woodstove, and an outhouse. The Cabin is also equipped with a skiff and oars. . It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads cook stoves, cooking gear and food. The person holding the reservation for this cabin must be at least 18 years of age, and must be a member of the party using the cabin. There are no discounts for Golden Age/Passports for Alaska cabin rentals. Lake is a glacially formed basin with steep, rocky cliff faces on three side cabin sits on a little knoll at the outlet of the lake. Accessible by floatplane. This cabin is in a designated Wilderness area, and access by a helicopter is illegal. Reservations are restricted to a maximum stay of 7 consecutive nights per party for any one reservation May 1 September 30 and a maximum stay of 1 consecutive nights per party October 1- April 30. Brown bear territory, take necessary precautions.Effective November 17, 2003, reservations for Alaska cabins will be subject to a new policy allowing only one change per reservation. A change in reservation is defined as a modification to the start or end date of the reservation. After one change has been made, if additional changes are desired, the customer must cancel the reservation and at a later time, re-book the new dates. This policy has been established to assure that reservations for cabins are fair and equitable for everyone.
