CEDAR BREAKS PARK (TX), TXDescriptionCedar Breaks Park will be closing on January 1, 2010 and will be closed indefinitely due to substantial electrical work to be performed at Lake Georgetown. Walkins will still be accepted until actual work commences.Cedar Breaks Park is located on the south side of Georgetown Lake, which is located in the hill country area of Texas approximately 25 miles north of Austin. The park is aptly named for the abundance of cedar (Ashe Juniper) present. Cedar Breaks offers 64 campsites with water and 30amp/20amp electrical hookups, and 2 group shelters. Additional amenities include hot showers, a dump station, boat ramp, fishing docks, and a 16-mile hiking trail with a variety of scenery. Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important InformationReservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends. The campground is open year round and park hours are 6am -10pm. Campsites are $18/night and group shelters are $35/day. There are also 39 picnic shelters available. Please do not feed the wildlife!!! More information about this area can be obtained by calling 512-930-5253. Upon arrival, campers may only check in for the site they are occupying. * Multiple res holders cannot pick the second or third site(s) unless there is another person(s) there.* Once the park closes at 10:00pm, no one may enter by vehicle until 6:00am.
