Big Springs Campground is located about 16 miles north of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho in Pebble Creek Drainage. The campground turnoff of old highway 30 (Whisky Mikes) is about 9 miles north of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. It is also about 8 miles west of Bancroft, Idaho. The Local District Office telephone number is (208) 236-7500. Security is provided by hosts and periodic patrols by county sheriff.

This is Big Springs Campground Located about 16 miles north of Lava Hot Springs. Is this the campground you are requesting? Check-In Time is at 2:00 pm and Check-Out Time is 12:00 noon for all sites. The district office is open Mon-Fri 7:45am to 4:30pm, closed on Federal Holidays. All vehicles and RV's must park in designated areas only. Single family units are $10, two family units are $20 per night. There is no electricity/water/sewer site hook-ups at this campground. A fee of $5 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. ATV's or ORV's allowed on designated trails only. No riding in the campground. All equipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in developed areas only.

From Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, go north on old highway 30 (paved highway) about 9 miles to Pebble Creek road (also known locally as" Mikes Place" or "Whisky Mikes"). Turn left (west) across railroad tracks on forest road #036 (graveled). Stay on this road and go about 7 miles to Big Springs Campground.
