Description

Axtel Campground is located on Rough River Lake. From camping to picnicing to fishing, Rough River Lake has it all to offer. The area is a nature lover's paradise. Axtel Campground offers 158 sites with all sites having a view of Rough River Lake. Additional ammenities include hot showers, a dump station, playground's, a marina, a campground beach, and boat launch.

Rough River Lake lies within the "Clifty" area of the Pennyroyal Region of Kentucky.
