As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. Description

Aux Arc Campground is located on Ozark Lake along the Arkansas River. With a wealth of recreational opportunities in the Arkansas River Valley, you'll never run out of fun things to do with the whole family. Camping, fishing, boating, hiking, and picnicking are favorites with the locals and visitors. Aux Arc Campground offers 60 sites with electric and water hook ups, and three group shelters. Additional amenities include a dump station, two playgrounds, hot showers, and a boat ramp.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
    • This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends.
    • This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
    • Open from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007. Reservations are taken from March 01 through October 31; sites may be available on a first come-first served basis outside the reservation season.
    • No Alcohol.
    • Campsites:
      Campsite fees range from $9-$18/night. For campsites, check-in is 4pm and check-out is 2pm.
    • Shelters:
      These shelters are available for reservation, priced at $50/day. Shelter check-in/check-out times are as follows:9am-9pm. Shelters are now available for reservation through the NRRS.
