ANCHOR PASS CABIN (AK), AKDescriptionClick here for more cabin information and maps. Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, wood stove for heat & an outside toilet. It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food. Reservations are restricted to a maximum stay of 7 consecutive nights per party for any one reservation May 1 - September 30 and a maximum stay of 10 consecutive nights per party October 1 - April 30. The person holding the reservation for this cabin must be at least 18 years of age, and must be a member of the party using the cabin. There are no discounts for Golden Age/Access passports for Alaska cabin rentals. Proximity: Serves as halfway point when traveling around Revillagigedo Island. Wildlife viewing, fishing for salmon, halibut, red snapper and shrimp; black & brown bears may be encountered at this cabin. Beach access varies with tides, unexpected weather may cause extension of stay - bring extra supplies and plan accordingly. Cabin is located at sea level, forested setting on mainland, spectacular views from front deck of mountains. A 12' X 14' Pan - Abode cabin, two single/ two double bunks, woodstove, outhouse and mooring buoy.Effective November 17, 2003, reservations for Alaska cabins will be subject to a new policy allowing only one change per reservation. A change in reservation is defined as a modification to the start or end date of the reservation. After one change has been made, if additional changes are desired, the customer must cancel the reservation and at a later time, re-book the new dates. This policy has been established to assure that reservations for cabins are fair and equitable for everyone.
