Description

West Point Lake extends 35 miles along the Chattahoochee River, just north of West Point, Georgia. The lake has a shoreline of more than 500 miles. Surrounded by forests and fields on the Alabama-Georgia state line, West Point Lake provides excellent fishing, camping, and other recreational opportunities. The Amity Campground offers 96 sites, 93 with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, laundry facilities, hot showers, a boat ramp, basketball and tennis court, a playground, and trails.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. The campground is open March - September and sites are $16-$22/night. Attendants are on duty. The gates to the campground will be locked every night from 10pm to 7am. During that time, gates will only be opened for emergencies.

Travel north on Stateline Road approximately 7.5 miles from West Point, GA and watch for sign on the right side of the road. From Lanett, AL, travel 7 miles north on CR 212. Follow signs into the campground.
