Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance. Highway 92 has a 30' vehicle length restriction. Altamont is within this restriction. Campers must have a recreation pass before camping. They are available at entrance stations located on either side of the Alpine Scenic Loop. Three-day passes are $6 per vehicle, Seven day passes are $12 per vehicle, and annual passes are $45 per vehicle.
