OverviewWatsadler Campground is located adjacent to the Hartwell Dam with a wide view overlooking Hartwell Lake in Georgia.Spanning parts of South Carolina and Georgia, Hartwell Lake is one of the largest and most visited public recreation lakes in the Southeast. It comprises nearly 56,000 acres of water and has a shoreline of 962 miles. Natural Features:The lake shore is thickly forested with mostly pine, and the lake itself is large with many inlets and coves to explore. Recreation:Fishing is one of the most popular activities at the lake. Sought-after species include largemouth bass, bream, crappie, catfish, striped bass and hybrid bass. Facilities:The campground offers 49 campsites on the waterfront. All sites have 50-amp electrical hookups and water. Other amenities include a dump station, boat ramp, showers and playgrounds.
