DescriptionRobert H. Treman State Park is an area of wild beauty, with the rugged gorge called Enfield Glen as its scenic highlight. Winding trails follow the gorge past 12 waterfalls, including the 115-foot Lucifer Falls, to where visitors can see a mile-and-a-half down the wooded gorge as it winds its way to the lower park. Enjoy nine miles of hiking trails, or swim in a stream-fed pool beneath a waterfall. The outdoor recreation here is spectacular.Geography:Robert H. Treman State Park is located in Tompkins County, along State Route 327. Recreation:Summer visitors will enjoy lounging at the beach. Fishing, hiking, and hunting may be enjoyed into the fall and in the spring. The park offers recreation programs for visitors, and scenic views, including views of the park's waterfalls, may be experienced year-round. Facilities:All of the park's facilities, and most of the park's activities, are handicapped-accessible. The park has a beach, cabins, campsites, dumping stations, picnic tables and pavilions, scenic views, and restrooms with showers. Nearby Attractions:Nearby state parks include Allen H. Alerts and Important Information Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice.
To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. CAMPSITES CABINS PETS
Peak season runs from the end of June to the end of August. A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation. Getting There:GPS Info.
