This park is located right on Stumpy Meadows Reservoir. It is primitive with potable water at spigots and vault toilets. Located in a heavily wooded area. Firewood is for sale at the campground. Some sites may be available on a first come, first serve basis

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.

  • This campground has first come, first serve sites.
  • A per day per vehicle fee will be collected at the campground beginning with the 3rd vehicle.
  • Holder of Golden pass must be present.
  • There is a $2.00 fee per animal per day.
  • No refunds are given for bad weather.
  • There are no hook ups at this campground.


  • No Pets allowed on site 27.The water source is here and must be protected from contamination.

    From Placerville take Hwy 49N 1/2 mile, turn right on Hwy 193 to Georgetown take a right on main street in Georgetown, 15 miles to campground. From Auburn take Hwy 49S to Cool, turn left on Hwy 193 to Georgetown, turn left on main street in Georgetown, 15 miles to campground.
